KUWAIT CITY, Aug 12: In a recent operation near a farm in the Sulaibiya area, security forces arrested two illegal residents found in possession of 45 bottles of locally-made alcohol. Four accomplices managed to escape during the incident.

The arrests were carried out by Jahra Security Support personnel, who encountered the suspects in an unusual state and their vehicle was stuck. Upon searching the vehicle, the officers discovered the 45 bottles of local alcohol.

The suspects, during questioning, admitted that they were part of a group that also included four other individuals who fled when the patrol approached. They revealed that they procured the alcohol from a warehouse in the “Rahiya” area and planned to sell it.

The seized alcohol was confiscated, and the arrested individuals were taken to the Saad Al-Abdullah City police station for further investigation. Authorities have circulated the names of the fugitives and referred the case to detectives. An investigation is underway to locate the remaining suspects and to target the source of the illegal alcohol production.
