KUWAIT CITY, Jan 17: Under the direct supervision of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Private Security Sector, conducted a significant security operation in the Bneid Al-Gar area on Friday, January 17, 2025.

The operation led to the issuance of 1,521 traffic violations and the seizure of 53 vehicles and motorcycles involved in traffic offenses. Additionally, two individuals in an abnormal condition were apprehended, while 12 wanted persons, facing arrest and summons orders, were also arrested.

The security forces arrested four individuals for violating the Residency and Labor Law, four others without proper identification, and three individuals with cases of absence. Two vehicles linked to ongoing legal cases were also seized.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing security and traffic campaigns across the country, targeting violators, outlaws, and individuals subject to judicial rulings. Authorities urge the public to cooperate with law enforcement and report violations by calling the emergency hotline at 112.
