KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: The sponsor of the 33-year old Filipina woman who recently tried to jump from an apartment in Hawally area where she was kept captive for four days, has been arrested. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a woman trying to commit suicide, Hawally firefighters rushed to the location and rescued the Filipina woman after breaking down the main door of the apartment and the door of the room where she was locked in. Investigations revealed that her sponsor had locked her in the room for disciplinary purpose and confined her for four days after which she decided to jump from the apartment, which is on the second floor of a residential building in Hawally area. A case was filed against the sponsor and investigations are ongoing in this regard.

Car owner sought: Investigations are ongoing to find a Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for several crimes, after he left his car at the parking area near Friday Market with blood stains on its rear, reports Al- Anba daily. There is a suspicion that the citizen committed a crime.
