KUWAIT CITY, May 3: A Moroccan expatriate, who is wanted by law for enforcing a judicial sentence of five-year imprisonment in a drug-related case, was arrested in Jahra area. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling Jahra area based on instructions from Jahra Security Director Major General Ali Madhi when they noticed a speeding vehicle. When they ordered the driver to pull over, he ignored them and sped off, forcing securitymen to chase him. After they managed to force him to stop, they checked his details and discovered he is a Moroccan expatriate who was sentenced to five-year jail term over a drugrelated case. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for drunk driving on Salmi Road. Child found dead: A six-month old Bedoun toddler was found dead inside his family house in Jahra area. According to security sources, the family took the child to Jahra Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department for autopsy to determine the cause of his death. A case has been registered. Reportedly, the child’s family revealed that they do not know the cause of his death. Meanwhile, a 1999-born Kuwaiti youth was stabbed in the back by another during a quarrel between them in Sabahiya area. According to security sources, the quarrel broke out between the two youths in a parking lot over a problem that arose in their school. While they were attacking each other, one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other on the back until he fell on the ground and started bleeding profusely from the stab wounds. The suspect fl ed from the location. The victim has been taken to Adan Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.
