KUWAIT CITY, April 30: National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim has invited the government and lawmakers to the ordinary session scheduled for Tuesday to discuss the following:

• Amiri Decree on forming the new government and oath taking of ministers as per Article 91 of the Constitution;

• Approval of the minutes of the previous session;

• 14 incoming letters including that of HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah thanking the lawmakers for their Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr greetings, request of the Youth Affairs Committee chairman to extend the grace period granted to the committee to discuss the proposed allocation of bicycle paths, request of the Public Funds Protection Committee chairman to extend the grace period granted to the committee to investigate information obtained regarding the deposits of the late Chairman of the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) Fahd Al-Ragaan in Swiss banks and the resignation of MP Soud Busleeb;

• Report of the Response to the Amiri Speech Committee on replying to the Amiri speech based on the suggested context;

• Government program (2022-2026) as per Article 98 of the Constitution;

• Second deliberation on the bill to amend the procedures and Judicial Trials Law No. 17/1960;

• Report of the Human Resources Committee on the proposal to amend Civil Service Law No. 15/1979;

• Report of the Foreign Affairs Committee on the proposed amendment of Law No. 21/1964 on boycotting Israel and banning any deal with Israel and its affiliates;

• Report of the Business Environment Improvement Committee on the proposal to amend National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Law No. 98/2013;

• Report of the Environment Affairs Committee on the proposed amendment of Law No. 42/2014;

• Report of the Interior and Defense Affairs Committee on the proposal to grant social, health and civil rights to Bedouns and amendment of the Foreigners Residency Law;

• Report of the Budgets and Final Accounts Committee on the final accounts of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports for fiscals 2018/2019 and 2019/2020;

• Report of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on the proposal to amend Law No. 32/1968 on Kuwaiti currency and banking profession, Law No. 61/1976 on the establishment of the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS), increase the minimum monthly pension of retirees to KD1,000, issuance of government sukuk and establishment of a fund for compensating the victims of real estate fraud;

• Report of the Social, Health and Labor Affairs Committee on the proposed amendment of Cooperative Societies Law No. 24/1979 and Disabled Affairs Law No. 8/2010;

• Proposals of MPs to form fact-finding committees to investigate the money laundering issue related to the Malaysian Sovereign Fund, fake Kuwaiti citizenship, corruption at Kuwait Investment Authority, and violations committed by the Ministry of Health during the Covid-19 epidemic and Farwaniya Hospital expansion;

• Report of the State Audit Bureau (SAB) on the violations found in the Eurofighters deal. Meanwhile, MP Badr Al-Humaidi disclosed that he will not run for any election in the future.
