Seven Airlines Exit Kuwait: Who Is to Blame?

SEVEN airlines have pulled out of the Kuwaiti aviation market, and the reasons behind their departure are well known. While some of the reasons are from our end, others stem from the airlines themselves. What is clear is that we must be aware of the risks when global carriers begin to leave Kuwait. These seven airlines closed their offices for a range of reasons, some serious, others trivial. But who is held accountable? Though we heard about their exit, the reasons have yet to be disclosed, leaving the impression of a lack of management on our part. In successful economies, airports and their services are marketed effectively, with incentives and attractions designed to boost business. Here in Kuwait, the doors are shut, the responsible parties lie to us, and we remain silent
