LOS ANGELES, Nov 18, (Agencies): Sharon Osbourne is shedding light on her experience with Ozempic, a prescription medication aimed at weight loss. The 71-year-old host of The Talk UK disclosed that she now weighs less than 100 lbs after incorporating Ozempic, an FDA-approved treatment for individuals with type 2 diabetes, into her routine. This medication, also known as Wegovy, utilizes semaglutide to influence satiety in the brain and has become a prominent weight loss trend in Hollywood.

Expressing concern about her current weight, Osbourne stated, "I’m too gaunt, and I can’t put any weight on. I want to because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100 lbs, and I don’t want to be. Be careful what you wish for." She initiated the use of Ozempic in December, sharing a cautionary note about its potential effects, particularly in teenagers. Osbourne emphasized the ease with which significant weight loss can occur and the subsequent risk of addiction, deeming it dangerous.

Despite surpassing her anticipated weight loss, Osbourne remains indifferent to criticism regarding her appearance, emphasizing her investment in various efforts to maintain an attractive look. "I don’t care what people say about the way I look. I know I look gaunt and I know everything that goes along with it. And I did," she declared.
