KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr, Chairman of the Kuwait Aquatics Federation, announced that the Federation's Board of Directors will be intensifying efforts to collaborate with relevant authorities to secure a dedicated sports facility. This facility will support the implementation of training programs and preparation for various sports events, including Gulf, Arab, continental, and international competitions.

Sheikh Al-Badr also extended his congratulations to the Kuwaiti athletes who participated in the Arab Youth Aquatics Championship in Egypt, where 17 countries competed. The Kuwaiti team achieved remarkable success, winning 26 medals and setting new Arab records. This accomplishment, Sheikh Al-Badr emphasized, underscores the positive trajectory of water sports in Kuwait, thanks to the collective efforts of the Federation’s Board, players, technical and administrative staff, and supportive families.

Looking ahead, Sheikh Al-Badr highlighted the Federation's commitment to advancing a clear roadmap focused on developing age groups and the junior base, which he believes is crucial for the future of water sports in Kuwait.
