KUWAIT CITY, July 2: Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr, the head of Asian Swimming Sports Federations (AASF), conveyed his concern regarding the incident involving Kuwait's speedboat champions Bader Al-Dosari and Mohammed Al-Esayi during their participation in the second round of the World Championships in Belgium.

In a phone call with the accompanying administrative staff, Al-Badr provided reassurance about the players' health, noting their recovery under excellent medical care and dedicated efforts.

In a press statement, Al-Badr affirmed the Federation's unwavering support for the Kuwaiti champions, pledging full resources until their safe return to Kuwait. He emphasized that Bader Al-Dossari and Mohammed Al-Isayi are esteemed competitors with a distinguished history in water sports. The incident, involving the capsizing of their boat in the "B class" category for single-engine boats with 300 horsepower, occurred during intense competition where Kuwait was leading after 13 laps.

Al-Badr expressed hope for a speedy recovery for Al-Dosari and Al-Essayi, anticipating their return stronger to continue their successful journey alongside other competitors, proudly representing Kuwait on regional and global stages.
