KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: The Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Horse Racing and Secretary General of the Hunting and Equestrian Club, Sheikh Sabah Fahad Al-Nasser, emphasized the vital role of stable owners in enhancing competition and excitement in horse racing, driving participants to strive for top positions.

The 14th race meeting at the Hunting and Equestrian Club saw intense competition among several stables, all vying for the prestigious car prizes sponsored by Rashid Yousef Bursali, Dean of Bursali Stable. The horses "Haken de Carrere" (Al-Abraq Stable), "Mukafih" (Al-Nawader), "Mubaher" (Al-Badden), and "Mudar" (Al-Akshan) emerged victorious, securing the cars as part of the late Yousef Rashid Bursali Festival.

Sheikh Sabah Fahad Al-Nasser, along with Rashid Yousef Bursali, personally handed over the car keys to the winning stable representatives. Additionally, Al-Nasser presented a commemorative shield to Bursali in recognition of his unwavering support for Kuwaiti equestrian sports.

Expressing his gratitude, Al-Nasser thanked Bursali for his generous contributions to the equestrian community, highlighting the significance of the four car prizes.

For his part, Rashid Yousef Bursali reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the sport, noting that he has been awarding these prestigious prizes for over 35 years.
