KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah held separate meetings on Tuesday with ambassadors from several friendly countries to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and collective action, particularly in security-related areas.
According to a statement issued by the General Department of Relations and Security Media at the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef met with the Ambassador of the United Mexican States, Edward Patricio Pena Haller; the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Major General Syed Tariq Hussain; the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ayub Khan Yunusov; and the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania, Mugurel Stanescu.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to strengthening relations with sisterly and friendly countries to achieve security and stability. He also praised the role of diplomatic cooperation in attaining shared objectives.
During the meetings, the discussions focused on exchanging views on various issues of mutual interest and reviewing the latest developments at regional and international levels.
The ambassadors expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef for the warm reception and commended Kuwait's pivotal role in enhancing regional security. They also emphasized their countries' eagerness to expand cooperation with Kuwait across all fields to achieve common interests and shared goals.
