PARIS Aug 4: The Chairman of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser, expressed his pride and honor in the participation of Kuwaiti athletes in this international event, emphasizing that competing alongside these champions is an "achievement."

Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser made this statement after visiting the residence of the national athletics team, where he met with athlete Yaqoub Al-Youha. He highlighted his pride in Kuwait’s participation in the 33rd Olympic Games, commending the champions for their professional dedication and determination in representing their country admirably, even if some exited the competitions early.

He noted that reaching this international sporting event, which gathers world champions from diverse sports and cultures, is an achievement in itself. "We are all proud of them... and their determination is strong," he stated. Acknowledging the intense competition at this event, he stressed the importance of encouraging and supporting Kuwaiti champions in the remaining contests.
