PARIS, Aug 3: Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser, Chairman of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee, met with French President Emmanuel Macron during the swimming events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This meeting was arranged at the invitation of Hussein Al-Musallam, President of the International Aquatics Federation.

Sheikh Fahad praised the outstanding organization of the swimming competitions, highlighting Al-Musallam’s role in elevating Kuwait’s international sports presence. He emphasized that Al-Musallam represents the national talent in global sports leadership roles, bringing pride and honour to Kuwait.

The Chairman expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled  Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for their unwavering support of Kuwaiti sports, which drives the nation’s achievements on regional and international stages. Sheikh Fahad also attended a reception hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia in Paris, alongside Captain Hussein Al-Musallam, Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee.
