KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19: Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, affirmed on Saturday the strong and enduring military cooperation between Kuwait and the United States.

This statement followed Sheikh Fahad's visit to Camp Buehring in northern Kuwait, where he met with Lt. Gen. Frank Patrick, Commander of the U.S. Army Central Command, and U.S. Ambassador Karen Sasahara.

During the visit, Sheikh Fahad emphasized the commitment of both nations to enhancing their partnership, particularly in the areas of training and defense coordination, with the aim of promoting common interests and ensuring regional security and stability.

The Ministry of Defense explained that Sheikh Fahad was briefed on the operational procedures at the camp, including the forces' assigned tasks and readiness. He also received a comprehensive update from military leaders on the joint coordination efforts in place.

Sheikh Fahad was accompanied by Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, along with several senior military officers.
