Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: President of the Kuwaiti and Asian Aquatics Federations Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, on behalf of himself, the Board of Directors, and all members of the aquatics federations, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (May God protect him) on the occasion of the first anniversary of His Highness assuming power in the country.

In a press release, Sheikh Khaled stated that all members of the Aquatics Federation in Kuwait reaffirm their loyalty to His Highness the Amir. He prayed to God Almighty for the continued protection of Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, and for the nation to remain a haven of security and safety under His Highness’s wise leadership.

He stressed that His Highness the Amir’s constant directives on the importance of supporting athletes have posed a significant challenge to those responsible for Kuwait’s sports movement.

Sheikh Khaled urged all involved to work diligently to translate Amir’s vision of prioritizing youth issues into tangible results.

He called on everyone to exert greater efforts and dedication to achieve the aspirations of elevating and advancing Kuwait.

Sheikh Khaled explained that the Water Sports Federation works closely with all relevant institutions and organizations to transform the dreams and aspirations of the Kuwaiti people into reality. The federation is dedicated to nurturing creative talent and adopting ambitious visions and ideas to build an aware generation capable of safeguarding and advancing the country through science and education. The federation is committed to overcoming all challenges faced by water sports athletes, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to engage in their activities without obstacles.

He expressed his hope that everyone will meet the expectations of the political leadership, which has consistently insisted on the importance of working to fulfil the aspirations and hopes of the youth.

Sheikh Khaled affirmed that the federation’s Board of Directors will continue to work as a unified team to develop and improve water sports under the generous care of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
