KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4: The president of the Kuwaiti and Asian Aquatic Sports Federations, Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr, commended the outstanding role of the International Water Sports Federation, led by Kuwaiti Hussein Al-Musallam, in the exceptional organization of swimming competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr stated that the International n Aquatic Sports Federation, under Al-Musallam’s leadership, serves as a model of dedication, effort, and success, contributing significantly to the development and advancement of water sports on a global scale. He noted that Al-Musallam's influence was evident during the Olympics, earning the approval of participating continental federations.

He further added that there is a consensus that Al-Musallam, as the President of the International Aquatic Sports Federation, is a "national competence" who has firmly placed Kuwait on the world sports map. Al-Musallam has achieved this by successfully steering water sports in the right direction, expanding participation worldwide, and providing support and assistance to countries facing various challenges.
