KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: The Shifa Excellence Awards 2025 unfolded in a grand ceremony at Aspire International Indian School, Abbasiya, celebrating excellence, commitment, and visionary leadership.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Khaled Al Kandari, who delivered an inspiring address, commending Mr. K. T. Rabeeullah, Chairman of Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Group, for his pioneering efforts in making quality healthcare accessible and his enduring philanthropic vision that has shaped Kuwait’s private healthcare sector.
Joining as Guests of Honour were Munthasar Majeed and Naziha Mohamed Rabeeh, Vice Chairman and Vice Chairperson of Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Group, respectively.
Recognizing Media Excellence & Dedicated Service
In his keynote address, Azeem Sait Sulaiman, Head of Operations & Business Development, extended warm congratulations to the awardees, highlighting the vital role of media in fostering strong community relations.
Two media professionals were recognized for their impactful contributions:
•tMr. Najeeb C K, Country Head (Kuwait), Business Solutions, Gulf Madhyamam – Media Relations Impact Award
•tMr. Nixon George, CEO, Connexions Media, Asianet – Kuwait – Outstanding Media Leadership Award
Each recipient was awarded Rs. 500,000 and a distinguished memento in recognition of their achievements.
Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Group honoured its long-serving employees, who completed 10 and 15 years of dedicated service, acknowledging their vital role in the organization’s continued success at the event.
A special highlight of the evening was the screening of “Bin Hubbik Ya Kuwait (We Love You Kuwait)”, a visual documentary presented as a tribute to Kuwait’s rich heritage, expat-friendly spirit, and enduring glory, in celebration of the National Day of Kuwait. Scripted, narrated, and directed by Mr. Azeem Sait Sulaiman, the documentary garnered widespread acclaim from both Kuwaiti nationals and the expatriate community.
Vision for Healthcare & Growth
In his honorary address, Munthasar Majeed applauded the awardees and long-serving staff for their commitment and dedication. He emphasized the guiding philosophy of Mr. K. T. Rabeeullah—that quality healthcare should be accessible to all—and outlined the 2
group’s future plans, including the upcoming launch of new medical centres in Salmiya and Jahra and efforts to secure international accreditations to elevate service standards.

A soulful melody segment by Abid Anwar added a harmonious touch to the celebrations.
