KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) is currently facing a crisis in the issuance of Civil IDs due to shortage of materials by the company in charge of import, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The daily quoting reliable sources said the issuance of ID cards now takes 7 days while it was earlier accomplished within 48 hours.
They denied rumors, which said the system was hacked, affirming there’s no interruption of service and that the system is working normal aside from delay in the issuance of civil IDs.
