KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that sick leave can now be accessed digitally through the unified government application "Sahel." In a statement posted on its official account on the social media platform X, the ministry confirmed that users can download electronic sick leaves, as well as those previously requested and registered, through the app's notifications list.
The ministry also reported that one of its systems experienced a technical glitch last Saturday morning. In response, protection systems and security measures were activated, and the affected systems were decoupled. The Ministry of Health is currently assessing the extent of the issue.
Additionally, the ministry noted that some of its services have temporarily shifted to paper-based transactions while the technical issue is being resolved.
