KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18:  Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) teams successfully controlled a fire that broke out on Monday evening in a sponge factory in the Subhan area, without causing any injuries. The fire, which occurred in an industrial plot covering 2,000 square meters, was swiftly contained by the firefighting teams to prevent it from spreading further.

A total of six firefighting teams responded to the blaze, working under the supervision of Major General Talal Al-Roumi, Chief of the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate, and Brigadier General Ahmad Hamoud, Acting Deputy Chief of the Fire Fighting Sector. The Director General of the Public Authority for Industry, Shamlan Al-Juhaidli, was also present at the scene.

The fire was quickly brought under control, and the operation was carried out efficiently, ensuring there were no significant injuries or casualties. The ministry emphasized its prompt response and the successful containment of the fire.
