KUWAIT CITY, July 18: The Court of Appeals upheld the verdict issued by a lower court that sentenced Al-Arabi Club President Abdulaziz Ashour to six months in prison with hard labor for insulting and challenging the integrity of a member of the judiciary. The Public Prosecution charged Ashour and others of violating the Supreme Court judges by publishing on the social networking site, ‘Instagram’, the video clip of an interview with the accused; during which he uttered words and expressions that could prejudice his integrity and his commitment to the law.
