KUWAIT CITY, May 15: The Spanish Embassy in Kuwait, in collaboration with the National Council for Culture Arts and Letters organized a very special guitar and violin performance by Armando Orbón and Lorena Fernández at the National Library of Kuwait, Sunday evening. The performance by duo of Orbón and Fernández featured the music of Spain and its infl uence on the music of the Americas as a fusion of two worlds and cultures creating an indelible memory and sensation much like that of the distant sound of horses galloping in the night. Armando Orbón brings to Kuwait this time a duo with an excellent artist, the violinist Lorena Fernández, both from the beautiful land of Asturias in the north of Spain, far and very different from where most Kuwaitis spend their time in Spain, at the Mediterranean Costa del Sol.
