KUWAIT CITY, April 12: The Special Olympics recently organized the second Unified Champions Schools Sports Forum, held at the Kazma Sports Club Hall with active participation from players from the National School. The event featured two exciting matches in football and basketball, with students from both the National School and Al-Huda School competing.

The event was attended by key figures, including Hana Al-Zawawi, President of Special Olympics Kuwait; Mohammed Odeh, Director of the National School; Fahad Al-Sahli, Board Member of Al-Tamooh Club; and Huda Al-Khalidi, Director of Al-Tamooh Club. The National School Scout team contributed to the festive atmosphere, adding to the event's lively spirit. Students from Al-Huda School for Special Needs also took part in the forum, showcasing their skills and teamwork.

During her opening speech, Hana Al-Zawawi extended her heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the National School community, the key strategic partner in bringing the Unified Champions Schools program to life. She highlighted the program's role in promoting educational integration through sports, fostering an inclusive environment for all students. Al-Zawawi emphasized that such initiatives are crucial in building school communities that encourage acceptance and mutual understanding, providing young people with opportunities to grow in an inclusive setting.
