Squash delegation from Doha receives a warm welcome after the Qatar championship success

KUWAIT CITY, April 28: The squash delegation from Doha received a heartfelt welcome upon their return from the successful Qatar International Junior Open Championship at Kuwait International Airport. Assistant Secretary of the Federation, Hamad Al-Daghim, and Board of Directors member and Vice Chairman of the National Teams Committee, Ahmed Al-Adwani, adorned the champions’ necks with roses, joined by international player Abdullah Al-Muzain and other dignitaries including senior game administrators, coaches, and players’ families.

Led by Secretary Hamed Al-Omran, the delegation achieved remarkable results in the tournament. Khaled Al-Fawzan secured the U-17 championship title, while Salman Al-Saleh claimed victory in the U-11 category. Saleh Al-Kandari secured second place in the U-13 division, with Abdul Rahman Al-Maghrabi clinching third place in the same category. Additionally, Abdullah Hani secured third place in the under 17 year’s category.

Expressing his delight, Secretary General of the Squash Federation, Hamed Al-Omran, celebrated the outstanding performance of the delegation, with five out of seven players claiming top honors in their respective categories at the Qatar Junior Championship.
