KUWAIT CITY, April 16: Head of the St. Mark’s Cathedral in Kuwait Father Bigol Anba Bishoy announced that the church will receive well-wishers for the Blessed Easter on Saturday, April 19, starting at 9:00 pm during part of the Divine Liturgy, and on Sunday, April 20, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the reception hall, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Father Bigol praised the spirit of love and tolerance that has prevailed in Kuwaiti society for many generations, and flourished during the reign of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al- Ahmad.
He said, “We pray from our hearts that His Highness’s reign continues and is filled with goodness and prosperity, and that the Kuwaiti people will experience a great cultural shift.” Father Bigol expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the agencies that contribute to securing the celebrations, particularly the leadership and staff in all its sectors and branches of the Ministry of Interior, as well as Hawally and Ahmadi governorates, the media, and others.

He also expressed his pride in the many heartfelt congratulations that express great love and warmth. Father Bigol said, “During such holidays, we are accustomed to receiving well-wishers from various segments of the Kuwaiti community, including state officials, citizens, social figures, members of diplomatic missions, and many members of the expatriate communities living on this blessed land. The bouquets of flowers we receive carry beautiful meanings and the spirit of brotherhood, which we deeply cherish. This reflects the atmosphere of harmony, coexistence, and stability in Kuwait. I wish prosperity and success to both the Kuwaiti and Egyptian peoples.”
