Kuwait City, Mar 10: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, announced the competition of a significant milestone following the successful testing of 10Gbps utilizing the 6 GHz IMT (6425-7125MHz) spectrum, marking a historic first in the Kuwaiti market.

6GHz band holds global significance as it has been recognized for mobile use across ITU regions. This sets the stage for expanding mobile capacity, particularly for 5G-Advanced and beyond. The trial was conducted under the supervision and in collaboration with the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) in Kuwait.
