stc main sponsor of KTECH’s coding competition for 30 high school students

Kuwait City, Mar 20: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, was a main sponsor of the  Kuwait Technical College (KTECH) coding competition for public high school students. stc’s sponsorship of the competition aligns with the Company’s objectives behind its educational ‘upgrade’ initiative which aims to enhance the quality of education in the community, as well as the recently formed strategic collaboration with KTECH.

The coding competition included training sessions that were held from March 5th to the 6th, as well as the final competition that took place on March 9th, where the winners were announced. Over 30 public high schools participated in the competition, providing students with a chance to utilize the specially designed initiative to boost their problem solving and coding skills through the programming language Python. As a main sponsor of this competition, and in line with the recent MoU signed with KTECH, stc presented awards to the students that placed in the top positions of the competition. The Company’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting the local educational initiatives, and providing platforms to students that can empower their skills and showcase their abilities to excel across various fields.
