KUWAIT CITY, October 16: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, announced that it has won the ‘FWA Overall Experience Award’ at the SAMENA Council’s Leadership & Excellence (LEAD) Awards 2024 in Dubai, UAE. The recognition highlights stc’s exceptional developments in Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions, further strengthening its position as a pioneer in providing ICT solutions and exceptional customer experience.

stc received the award after submitting all the supporting documents requested by SAMENA Council’s LEAD Awards during the nomination period. Following a rigorous review of the various initiatives launched by stc under the FWA experience, the Company emerged as a winner of the award. Engineer Fahad Al Ali, Chief Technology Officer of stc attended the ceremony in Dubai and accepted the award on behalf of stc.

The ’FWA Overall Experience Award’ recognizes stc’s pioneering role in delivering fixed wireless and high-speed network solutions that provide customers with reliable connectivity across most areas in Kuwait. The Company focused on areas that had limited connectivity options and provided them with FWA solutions and services that could address the gap in such services. Targeting specific segments enabled stc to address a gap in the market, and therefore offer FWA services to underserved areas throughout Kuwait. Additionally, with the aim of enhancing the user experience, stc improved the installation process for FWA solutions, making it more user friendly, faster and more efficient.

As part of the award, stc was recognized for the quality of service that it provides its customers. The Company achieved a high customer satisfaction rate due to various attributes related to its innovative business model and new-to-market concepts. Having invested in developing a strong network infrastructure, stc received a strong reputation for providing high-speed reliable and consistent connectivity. By focusing on delivering services to new developed areas, stc increased its customer acquisition rate through offering innovative services such as Outdoor Unit (ODU) based 5G internet devices, which have become popular for customers seeking superior connectivity.
