KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has reiterated its call for employees and staff to strictly adhere to official working hours, reports Al-Seyassah daily. This reminder was issued in an administrative circular by the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, emphasizing the importance of following the Civil Service Council’s rules and provisions regarding official work hours to maintain efficient workflow.

According to the circular, official working hours are set from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm for male employees and from 7:00 am to 1:45 pm for female employees. The period of delay is calculated after a grace period of thirty minutes upon arrival. Medical, technical, and administrative staff are urged to comply with these working hours, with outpatient clinics in hospitals and specialized medical centers expected to start work at 7:30 am. In addition, due to a technical issue with the automated system at Al-Oyoun Health Center, the Ministry announced the temporary transfer of residents from the Al-Oyoun area to Al-Qasr Health Center for laboratory tests.

Residents of the Al-Naseem and Al-Waha areas have also been redirected to Al-Jahra Health Center (medical complex) for their healthcare needs. The Ministry of Health emphasized that adherence to these working hours is crucial for ensuring the provision of the best possible health services to the public.
