KUWAIT CITY, April 23: A new field campaign using globally approved humane practices has been launched by the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources to curb the spread of stray dogs. This initiative is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to limit the presence of stray dogs, especially in residential areas, and to reduce the risk of dog bites.
The Authority stressed the importance of cooperation from both Kuwaiti citizens and expats with field teams to ensure the success of the campaign and the achievement of its objectives. It also urged the public to report stray dog sightings by contacting the Stray Dog Control Team either through a direct call or by sending the location via WhatsApp to the following number: 56575070. The Authority emphasized that collaboration between the relevant authorities and the community is essential to the campaign’s success and to making a real impact on the ground.
