KUWAIT CITY, Jul 29: The Director General of The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Yousef Fawazan announced that Kuwait Airport is ready to receive stranded expats from various countries as per the conditions set by the Ministry of Health from that most important are valid residence, fully vaccinated by approved vaccines approved by Kuwait and PCR negative certificate besides undergoing a PCR test on arrival.
In response to direct flights from high risk countries such as Egypt and India, Al Fawazan stated that, there are 5 countries which are listed on direct flight ban and no decision has been made to open direct flights with them, reports Al Anba. The decision to open the flights which these countries study is underway. Also DGCA is awaiting response from the Council of Ministers to increase capacity to 5,000 passengers per day which will be approved soon.
