KUWAIT CITY, April 23: The Public Authority for Manpower announced today that it has begun the process of reimbursing national labor support to 3,098 women whose citizenships were revoked under Article 8, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. The payments are scheduled to be deposited on Thursday.

In an official statement, the Authority referenced Cabinet Resolution No. 420 of 2025, which mandates the continued disbursement of national labor support to female employees in the private sector whose Kuwaiti nationality was withdrawn or revoked under Article 8.

The statement also highlighted that the move comes in response to directives from Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, who emphasized the importance of upholding justice and protecting the interests of these women. Their April payments will be deposited on Thursday, while retroactive payments will be included with their May salaries.
