KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: On Thursday, the Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Kuwaiti Nationality held a meeting chaired by Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the committee decided to withdraw Kuwaiti citizenship from 112 individuals. This decision will be presented to the Council of Ministers for further action.

The Ministry outlined the committee’s decisions as follows:

- Loss of Kuwaiti citizenship under Article 11 of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law No. 15 of 1959 and its amendments, for 12 cases.

- Revocation of Kuwaiti nationality certificates under Article 21 bis A of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law No. 15 of 1959 and its amendments, for 58 cases.

- Withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship under Article 13 of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law No. 15 of 1959 and its amendments, for 41 cases.
