Surprise raid at general prison uncovers contraband

KUWAIT CITY, June 24: In a surprise raid on Sunday afternoon, Special Forces, in collaboration with the Inspection Team of the Correctional Institutions from the Ministry of the Interior, seized numerous prohibited items from the General Prison. The operation led to the discovery and confiscation of sharp instruments and telephone devices among the contraband.

This raid was conducted under the directives of Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, as part of an ongoing effort to enhance security within the prison complex. The successful seizure of these items underscores the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining order and safety within correctional facilities.
