KUWAIT CITY, May 12: The detention renewal judge released on KD50 bail the female Syrian teacher accused of injecting a student with a needle that she obtained from the school clinic to intimidate the students and control the classroom. The teacher’s lawyer, Attorney Abdul Mohsen Al-Qattan, stated that after the issuance of the decision to release his client, all accounts on social media sites that abused her will be legally pursued. Al-Qattan explained that his client was in the classroom as a substitute for her colleague. She intended to use the needle to control the unruly students in the classroom, but she did not inject anyone with it as proven in the results of investigations, he clarified.
