KUWAIT CITY, Dec 29: The Jahra Governorate Research and Investigation Department, operating under the Criminal Security Sector, has assembled a task force to track down unknown thieves responsible for two recorded thefts at the Al-Qashaniyah Police Station, both classified as felonies. In response, the Deputy Public Prosecutor has instructed forensic experts to proceed to the crime scenes and find any traces that the perpetrators may have left behind.

The stolen items from the two incidents amount to approximately 28 thousand dinars. In the first case, involving the Ministry of Electricity and Water, stolen items included 100 copper conductors with a section of 100 mm (490 linear meters), 12 poles (10 meters), and 3 poles (12 meters) with accessories, a cable, and an electric switch, totaling an estimated value of 11,121 dinars. The Deputy Public Prosecutor has directed the registration of this incident as "theft by breaking a safe."

In the second case, a citizen representing his father reported a break-in at his father's farm. The main door of the farm, as well as the door of the electrical room and storeroom, were forcibly breached. Stolen items included 2 air conditioning units, 2 power generators, and 3 air cylinders, with a total value of approximately 16,750 dinars. The incident, discovered last Sunday evening, prompted the involvement of the Deputy Public Prosecutor, who ordered the case to be registered. Forensic experts have been assigned to remove fingerprints from the scene.
