KUWAIT CITY, July 24: The Ministry of Education announced that it is closely monitoring the situation regarding the detention of a teacher pending trial on charges of committing acts contrary to public morals and ethics. In a statement posted on its account on the “X” platform, the Ministry expressed strong condemnation of such immoral actions, which it views as contradictory to Islamic values and societal traditions.

The Ministry denounced the behavior of the individual involved, emphasizing that it undermines the role of teachers as virtuous educators and bearers of a noble message. The Ministry of Education reiterated its commitment to upholding public morals, ensuring the security, safety, and psychological and social well-being of students. It affi rmed its readiness to take all necessary legal actions and enforce internal regulations in such cases, emphasizing its dedication to maintaining a safe and sound educational environment for students.
