KUWAIT CITY, June 24: The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation has announced the temporary closure of the Second Ring Road, specifically the section from Istiklal Road (30) heading towards Cairo Street with the entrance to Dasma. The closure will be effective from dawn on Friday, June 28, until dawn the following day, with partial reopening scheduled for Saturday. The road will be fully reopened after 48 hours.
This decision, made in collaboration with the General Traffic Department, aims to facilitate necessary maintenance work and ensure the safety of motorists. Commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure period to minimize inconvenience.
