Ten Kuwaiti innovators to join AI program in Silicon Valley

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), part of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), has announced that ten Kuwaiti innovators and inventors will participate in an artificial intelligence innovation program scheduled to take place in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, from November 18 to 27.

In a statement on Sunday, Nada Al-Daihani, the center's Director General, explained that the participants were selected from approximately 50 applicants by a specialized jury from the Mind the Bridge Foundation. The selection criteria adhered to international standards, evaluating factors such as product readiness, market size, previous achievements, business model, team strength, and English communication skills.

Al-Daihani noted that the program, organized by Mind the Bridge in San Francisco, aims to enhance the innovation capabilities of participants and equip them with tools and resources for achieving success, excellence, and growth. This initiative is part of the center's commitment to promoting innovation and supporting Kuwaiti innovators in developing their ideas and accessing new global market opportunities.

The program offers a unique opportunity for individuals with scientific backgrounds to gain deep insights into the latest trends in artificial intelligence and innovation, benefiting from one of the world's most dynamic and creative environments. Al-Daihani emphasized the program's significance in helping Kuwaiti innovators gain a deeper understanding of the American market, refine their innovation strategies, and build a network of relationships with key partners for success in the United States.

Among the ten selected innovations are:

Kaffy: A leading technology company providing innovative biometric solutions that enable payments through palm scanning, with applications in healthcare and education to enhance safety and comfort.

Brailleiance: An interactive educational device designed to assist blind students in learning mathematics in Braille while promoting self-learning.

Tim: An integrated healthcare resource management system using artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance patient outcomes in clinics and hospitals.

Ayadi: An online psychotherapy platform connecting users with certified therapists, prioritizing privacy and cultural competence to facilitate access to psychological support.

Mortex BCI: A system that allows device control through thought via motor perception, utilizing artificial intelligence and brain activity sensors.

Scansx: An innovative portable medical device employing artificial intelligence to quickly and accurately diagnose brain injuries, contributing to improved healthcare and life-saving measures.

oqood AI LegalTech: An AI-powered legal workspace designed to automate repetitive legal tasks and securely generate legal information and agreements.

EkosLive: A comprehensive platform enhancing the astrophotography experience with smart features for cloud storage, scheduling, and community image sharing.

Classi AI: An AI-based platform that facilitates teachers’ work by automating lesson planning and creating activities and assessments aligned with local curricula.
