KUWAIT CITY, July 3: The Kuwait squash team delegation has departed for Amsterdam, the Dutch capital, to compete in the Dutch Open Junior Championship, which commences today and runs until next Saturday. Following this event, the delegation will travel to Houston, USA, on the eighth of this month for a four-day outdoor preparatory training camp ahead of the World Junior Championships, scheduled from July 11 to 24 in Houston.
The delegation, led by Board Member Adel Al-Gharib, includes coach Majid Khan and players Jassim Al-Gharib, Abdul Rahman Al-Mughrabi, Khaled Al-Fawzan, Fahd Al-Ghais, Abdullah Hani, and Saad Al-Suwaid.
Adel Al-Gharib, head of the delegation, emphasized the importance of participating in official tournaments sanctioned by the International Federation of the Game for emerging and young players. Such participation allows them to compete against the world’s best players, gain international experience, and enhance their technical skills. The Blue players participating in the world championship are recognized locally as among the top players and key supporters of the first team.
