IRAQ, ERBIL, Dec 30: The Kuwaiti women's team achieved  second place in the general standings in the Arab Weightlifting Championship held in Erbil, 14 Arab countries participated in the event,  Kuwaiti team won 15 different medals.
The Secretary-General of the Kuwait Weightlifting Federation, Musaylim Al-Adwani, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Abrar Al-Fahd won three gold medals, Sarah Al-Hindi won three silver medals, Hawraa Al-Mousawi three silver medals, while Anfal Al-Muzayen won three bronze medals, and Qumashat Al Mandili won three bronze medals.
Musaylim Al-Adwani dedicated this achievement to  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people. He praised the athletes for their  outstanding efforts and dedication in raising the flag of Kuwait in Arab and international events.  (KUNA)
