KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: The Criminal Court during the first session confronted the owner of the fake account (The Octopus) in which the owner of the account is charged with defaming the higher authority, misusing a phone, and publishing documents belonging to others, to which the accused responded saying ‘My account was hacked’, reports Al-Rai daily.
The defense team then requested the court to release their client on any guarantee, explaining that the tweets in question were old and that at the time the account of their client had been hacked.
However, the court ignored the request and decided to set a December 20 to look into the case.
