KUWAIT CITY, April 28: Kazma aims to secure its Zain Premier League status for the next season as it faces Al-Shabab at the Friendship and Peace Stadium today at 5:30 pm in the third round of relegation group matches. Concurrently, Al-Jahra will host Khaitan at 8:15 pm.

Currently, Kazma leads the standings with 26 points, followed by Khaitan with 15 points, and Al-Shabab with 14 points, trailing three points behind Al-Jahra, which occupies the fourth and final position.

The top two positions in this group, determined over six rounds, will guarantee to remain in the Premier League for the following season, while the third and fourth positions will result in relegation to the First Division.

In the upcoming match, Kazma needs just one point from its remaining four matches, a task made easier by the gap in quality between it and its competitors. However, tonight's match holds particular significance for Kazma, especially considering Al-Shabab's previous victories over them in the league's earlier sections (1-0 and 2-1). Kazma is eager to restore its reputation by securing a win.

On the flip side, Al-Shabab aims to maintain its momentum and assert dominance over its host.

In the other match, Al-Jahra remains hopeful of sustaining its qualifying chances and securing a second successive victory, while Khaitan is determined to prolong its "survival" journey and maintain its hold on second place.
