'The Wounded Voice' concerts to honor Abdul Karim Abdul Qader

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: Officials at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center have finalized preparations for two upcoming concerts titled “The Wounded Voice,” dedicated to celebrating the artistic legacy of the late artist Abdul Karim Abdul Qader. These concerts will feature a selection of his beloved songs.

The events will showcase four prominent stars, headlined by Nabil Shuail, known as “The Nightingale of the Gulf.” Joining him will be artists Mosaed Al-Balushi, Fawaz Al-Rajeb, and the female vocalist Fadwa Al-Maliki. Scheduled for October 10 and 11, both concerts will commence at 8:30 PM.

Rehearsals for the participating artists are expected to begin soon on the designated stage, where they will prepare to perform a selection of three to four songs each night from Abdul Karim Abdul Qader’s repertoire. Ticket sales for the concerts will be announced shortly on the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center’s websites.

The cultural center has a history of honoring Kuwait's musical heritage, having previously hosted concerts in memory of many beloved Kuwaiti singing stars, celebrating their contributions to the arts throughout their careers.
