KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: Competitions for the third edition  of the Kuwaiti Dressage League are set to commence tomorrow at 3:00 pm at the Kuwait Equestrian Center in the Subhan area. The event is backed and sponsored by the Kuwait Equestrian Federation and anticipates a significant turnout of riders. This coincides with the introduction of new horses and a rising interest in the art of "horse dressage." The tournament comprises five levels, ranging from beginner to advanced proficiency.

Heading the dressage committee of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation is Sheikha Fajr Badr Al-Sabah. The committee is comprised of Alaa Salem Al-Sultan, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Nusayba Al-Maousherji, Dana Bouresli, and Abdullah Al-Amer. The technical management is under the guidance of the internationally experienced Amber Dean Heer.

Sheikha Fajr Al-Sabah stated, "The league consists of 8 rounds, with two tournaments already organized, and there are plans to host international referees for training courses aimed at riders and trainers.

She further emphasized, "We enjoy strong support from numerous club owners and their managements in advancing this sport."

In addition, Al-Amer expressed, “We encourage vaulting riders to partake in dressage tournaments, as they form the nucleus and foundation of equestrianism. Over the last season, we have witnessed the participation of many jumpers in dressage competitions. The art of taming the horse is considered a fundamental pillar of show jumping.”
