KUWAIT CITY, June 6: The Acting Director General of Kuwait Municipality Eng. Saud Al-Dabbous revealed a new procedure that was agreed upon during the meeting of the committee, which was formed to limit the phenomenon of bachelors living in private and model housing last week. The procedure involves deportation of the foreign investor in the event of evidence of his exploitation of any property in private houses to rent to bachelors, reports Al-Rai daily.

He revealed that the procedure also includes issuing two citations to the owner of the property for firstly a building violation, and secondly, renting to bachelors in private and model housing. Al-Dabbous announced that the municipality monitored about 1,156 houses that are used as residences for bachelors in different private and model residential areas.
