KUWAIT CITY, March 30: In an atmosphere filled with joy, reverence, and devotion, citizens and expats gathered this morning to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer at mosques and open prayer grounds across the country. From the early hours of dawn, worshippers arrived in large numbers, eager to partake in this sacred tradition.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced that Eid prayers would commence at 5:56 a.m. in 60 designated prayer halls, in addition to numerous mosques nationwide that warmly welcomed worshippers. Authorities took extensive measures to ensure a seamless flow of traffic and the smooth entry and exit of attendees.
Families and children arrived in high spirits, with young ones dressed in their finest attire, adding to the festive ambiance. Worshippers exchanged greetings and heartfelt blessings, praying for Eid to bring peace, faith, prosperity, and well-being to the Muslim nation. Outdoor prayer areas witnessed a significant turnout, as many worshippers opted to pray under the open sky, surrounded by the resounding echoes of Eid prayers, further enhancing the spiritual and joyous atmosphere of this blessed occasion.
To maintain order and ensure public safety, security forces were deployed in greater numbers to regulate traffic and facilitate the movement of worshippers around prayer venues. In their sermons, imams underscored the importance of tolerance, unity, and social harmony, encouraging worshippers to use the Eid festivities as an opportunity to strengthen family bonds, extend kindness, and foster love and peace within the community.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, performed the Eid prayer at the Grand Mosque. He was accompanied by their Highnesses and Excellencies, senior sheikhs, His Excellency the Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and senior state officials.
