Infected with virus after taking the first dose of the vaccine

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: Kuwaiti actor Mishary Al-Balam died due to coronavirus a few days ago and thousands of people mourned his death through various means of communication, praising his virtues and remembering his encounters with them, reports Al-Qabas daily. Al-Balam was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) some days ago, during which he revealed he contracted the virus after taking the first dose of the vaccine. He then suffered complications that necessitated his transfer to the ICU. Many artistes reacted to news on Al- Balam’s death.

His pictures spread on social media platforms, appealing for prayers of mercy for him. Official spokesperson of the Information Ministry Anwar Murad expressed condolences and sympathy on behalf of interim Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdul Rahman Badah Al-Mutairi to the family of the deceased and his artistic works family, praying that Allah will allow the deceased dwell in His spaciousness and grant patience and solace to his family and relatives.

According to Murad, the deceased had many dramatic and theatrical works during his entire career. He affirmed that the audience in Kuwait and abroad fully enjoyed the works of Al-Balam - one of the stars who made outstanding contributions to Kuwaiti artworks. The late Al-Balam was born on Dec 12, 1972. He played many roles in Kuwaiti dramas.
