Three Hospitalized After Boat Sinks; Pedestrians Injured in Separate Accidents

KUWAIT CITY, April 5: Marine firefighters rescued three Kuwaiti citizens after their boat sank near the shoreline. The individuals were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, and their condition is reported to be stable.

According to a security source, a report was received from a Kuwaiti citizen indicating that their boat had sunk at sea. Marine rescue teams promptly responded to the emergency and arrived at the scene, where they found the three individuals stranded on top of the nearly submerged vessel. The firefighters successfully rescued them. The cause of the boat's sinking has not yet been determined.

In a separate incident, a pedestrian was run over on a road in the Hawalli Governorate. The victim was taken to Mubarak Hospital for treatment, and the driver involved in the accident was taken into custody. In a related case, another individual was struck by a vehicle near a well-known shopping mall and was transported to Jahra Hospital. A security source stated that the report was received by the operations room, and traffic patrols responded quickly. However, the injured person had already been taken to the hospital by a passerby before emergency services arrived.
