KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: In celebration of the opening of the Khaleeji Zain 26, the Tomooh Sports Club for People with Intellectual Disabilities organized a special event to engage its members—including athletes, their families, and the club's administrative and technical staff—in the festivities. The event held the day before yesterday, featured a live viewing of the matches, aiming to promote social integration through shared experiences.
The viewing hall saw an impressive turnout of athletes with intellectual disabilities, who enthusiastically participated in the dazzling opening ceremony. The club's administrative and technical staff, along with professionals and advocates in the field of disability care and rehabilitation, also attended the Kuwait vs. Oman match and other scheduled tournament games.
Tomooh Sports Club is dedicated to hosting such events to ensure athletes can enjoy major sporting occasions in an interactive and inclusive environment. To mark the championship, the club recently released a video welcoming guests to the Gulf sports celebration.
